Hi. I know this is probably a stupid topic to put on a blind website, but I figured someone might be able to help me. Does anyone know how to change the colors for printing out a microsoft word document? My black ink is low, and I don't know how to change the color. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Jess

For clarification, are you asking how to change the color in word so it prints out using a different color (I think that's what you're asking) or how to change out your black cartrage. (I'm pretty sure it's #1, but I'd rather not assume.) :)

Yeah. lol. It's number one. Sorry I wasn't clear.

Ok. Select the text you want to change the color, then go to your format menu, and go to font. IN there, tab around until you get to the thing that says color button menu. Press a down arrow to get into the menu, then once you're in, you can use your arrow keys to go around to the different choices. Press enter on the one you want.
Hope that helps.

Yes, for example if you want to change the color of a whole document, select the whole thing by pressing control and a. Then go up to format menu and font. Keep pressing tab until you get to the colors section. JAWS should read out the colors fairly well, but sometimes it doesn't.
